A Review of the Instep Jogging Stroller Options

Instep strollers are well known for their great value, and although for the most part they are in fact not as high quality as many other types of strollers, they are still sturdy and durable. So if you are looking for a durable stroller but you do not want to have to break the bank over purchasing one, then you need not look any further than the Instep stroller line.

Instep Jogging Stroller #1: Instep Suburban Swivel Single Stroller

This stroller is incredibly light and maneuverable, and it is one of the newest additions added on to Instep’s line of strollers. It is also the lightest of all their strollers, and utilizes a sportier steel frame and 12” rear wheels. It is easy to push and pull around and get around tight corners, and this makes it very easy and convenient overall on parents.

Instep Jogging Stroller #2: Instep Ultra Runner Stroller

For the passenger of this Instep jogging stroller, there is a padded seat with a 5-point harness and an extra large kiddie console so that you can store your child’s food or drink or other items. Releasing the clearly labeled lever at the top of the stroller’s handle starts the quick and easy fold down process, and this allows you to be able to collapse the whole stroller with just one, which is important, especially if you have more than one child to look after or otherwise just have your hands full.

Instep Jogging Stroller #3: Instep Safari Swivel Single Stroller

The Instep Ultra Runner Instep jogging stroller is another great option, and it is considered as being the company’s sportiest jogging stroller yet. Even though it is classed as being an economy stroller, there are still many fabulous features, such as a suspension system that is built into the rear wheels, which works to absorb some of the bumps along the way.
There is also a handbrake which adds control when you are running down hills, and a console located at the handlebars, which is able to hold your drinks, snacks and personal effects, and the big underside basket is able to carry everything else.

Slightly similar to the Suburban Swivel stroller listed above, this stroller does however offer its own features. It is an all-terrain walking stroller that is capable of handling literally any terrain at an even pace, and as well it offers an adjustable handle bar which is a seemingly simple and straightforward feature but which is actually incredibly great perk if mom and dad are of different heights.

There is definitely plenty of variety and choice when it comes to the strollers offered by the Instep Company, and so if you are looking for a generally durable and incredibly affordable stroller, then they are definitely one of the companies that should be topping your list.

A Review of Your Graco Double Stroller Options

Graco is a well known company when it comes to strollers, and for good reason. After all, it is one of the most longstanding stroller manufacturing companies, and over its incredibly long time in business its high quality products, affordable prices, and superior customer service have helped it to become one of the most well-established and respected companies in the business.

The Graco Double Stroller Options

The Graco double stroller options are some of the most popular of all, and so whether you have twins or just more than one child, you are surely going to want to invest in a double stroller for yourself, as it is really the only way that you are able to get both of your children around at the same time.

One of the best Graco double stroller options in particular is the Graco Baby Classic DuoGlider LXI stroller, which features front and rear seats that are both compatible with the SnugRide car seat, an infant head support for each seat which works to provide extra comfort and support for newborns, and extremely easy navigation and maneuverability.

The elevated seating works well by providing plenty of leg room for everyone onboard and there is also an extremely large storage basket included on the stroller which is a great place for you to keep your baby’s gear as well as any of your stuff. Both of the seats are reclining seats, allowing not only extra support and comfort but a better view for both children as well.

Another of the best Graco double stroller options is the Graco Quattro Tour Duo stroller, which is one of their more heavy-duty strollers, and is one which doubles all of the excellent and convenient options that are offered with the previous Quattro Tour models. The enhanced spring suspension which is built in works to make for a smooth ride regardless of the speed you are walking or running at or the type of terrain that you are strolling over.
There are plenty of other Graco double stroller options that you have as well, and although each and every stroller is different from the next and offers its own separate features and qualities, you can really put your trust in the Graco Company because every single stroller that they produce is made of the highest quality. They are durable, convenient, stylish and best of all affordable, and so if you are planning on buying a stroller, then the Graco Company is definitely one of the best options.

Graco Baby Stroller Review

Graco are a very popular brand of baby stroller. Not only do they make baby strollers, but they also make other travel systems such as baby car seats, but I’m just going to talk about their baby strollers today.

Graco make a few double strollers, and this is what I’ll talk about today. One of Graco’s most popular double strollers is the “graco duo glider stroller”. These cost around $130 online.

Some of the features you first notice about this stroller is its very large storage basket, which comes in very handy. It also has trays in front of the seats, so your child can put things there. It even has cupholders.

The rear seat is also slightly elevated, so the child in the rear can still see where you’re going. It’s the little touches like this that show Graco have thought out the design of their strollers.

The stroller’s removable seats pads are quite easy to clean. You simply remove them and wash them in cold water. You need to wash them on a delicate cycle however, and they need to be drip dried.

Okay, so that’s the standard features of this Graco stroller. But what’s it like to use? One of the main benefits of getting a quality brand name stroller like Graco, is how it performs.

The wheels on this stroller are very study, and they can take you anywhere… through dirt, gravel or mud, this stroller can probably handle it. It’s also very durable, and is more than likely to outlast the amount of time you’ll be needing it (because you’re kids will grow up faster than you think!)

If you’re not looking for a double stroller… then Graco also offer some other strollesr you might like to consider. One of these is the Graco Giselle Mosaic Stroller. This is also around $130 (the last time I checked) and is a very high quality baby stroller.

One of the best features of these stroller is the fact that it is quite lightweight, so it isn’t too tiring to push around for long periods of time. But many owners find that it’s not so lightweight that it doesn’t feel “sturdy”. (If you’ve used a lightweight stroller before, I’m sure you know what I mean).

And the last stroller I will recommend to you today is the Graco Samba European Quattro Tour Stroller. This is another one baby stroller, and it’s slightly more expensive… but more features. This Graco baby stroller is around $175.

Firstly, this is a “deluxe” kind of stroller. It’s made from good quality materials, and it’s very safe and stable.

The storage baskets are very large, and have more than enough room to put any blankets, diaper bags or spare clothing you want to take out with you.

It also has a large canopy, which can protect your child from the sun at almost any angle.

And it’s also a very stylish looking baby stroller! You will love pushing this stroller around town.

Anyway, that’s all for today. Hopefully over the next few days and weeks I’ll have time to recommend some strollers made by other brands, as Graco certainly isn’t the only brand for you to consider when buying a new stroller.

Often asked questions when it comes to choosing the right baby stroller

Q) Is it safe to push only one child in a double stroller?
A) Yes, it’s safe to push only one child at a time.  The strollers are balanced very well to accommodate different weights in children, or if needed to only have one child in the stroller at a time.

Q) How soon can I use a stroller with my new born?
A) It’s best to wait until the child can support his/her head.  You should always check with your physician to see what they recommend.  Dreamer  Design makes an infant insert to help accommodate a younger child.

Q) If I break something on my stroller, how do I get parts for it?
A) If you need any parts for your stroller, you will need to contact the manufacture.  If you need a contact number just email us and we will get that information for you.

Q) I live near saltwater, so which stroller is best for not rusting?
A) All the stroller models have steel somewhere on them.  The more aluminum you have the better off you are.  Strollers with an alloy frame and alloy wheels would be best.

Q) I am not really a runner I am just looking for a stroller that is easy to push down the sidewalk.  I would like to be able to use it in the store also.
A) Strollers with 16″ wheels are the most versatile.  You can push them easily down the road or stroll through the mall.

Q) Is the all weather canopy only good for rainy area’s?
A) No, the all weather canopy can be used in several other ways such as a wind block.  In cold climates it can also be used to create a pocket of warm air to keep your child(ren) warm.  Toys, blankets, bottles, and other items can also be held in with the all weather canopy.  It does, however, work really well in the rain too.

Another Eddie Bauer Baby Stroller Review

Today I’m going to talk about Eddie Bauer baby strollers.

Eddie Bauer isn’t one of the most popular makes of baby stroller, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them before. Baby strollers aren’t their main product.

I only know of a few strollers they make. One of them is the “Eddie Bauer All Terrain Tandem” and the other is the “Eddie Bauer Vector Sport” stroller.

We’ll talk about the all terrain tandem first.

Okay, where shall we start? This baby stroller costs around $180. It’s one of the strollers around that still has a three point harness system, instead of a 5 point harness system. (If you’ve read some of my other posts, you probably already know that I think 5-point harnesses are much safer and secure for your child).

This isn’t a particularly lightweight stroller either. It’s around 50 lbs, which is pretty have for a stroller. The product descriptions all say it’s easy to manoeuvre (but they all say that, don’t they?) however, from people who I’ve talked to who has tried one of these out, this stroller is anything but.

How about storage? The eddie bauer stroller has a removable front tray which a juice box holder. It also has a bottle bag on the canopy. There’s one more tray which is on the handle. It doesn’t have any large storage area for storing anything that’s a bit more sizeable.

Also, it seems the front foot rest isn’t adjustable… which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having it if your child isn’t the “perfect” size required by this stroller. It won’t be long until your child grows a bit larger, and his or her ankles will be hitting the foot rest.

So, as you can tell, this isn’t really a stroller I recommend. For the money, you can get a much better stroller made by another company. Maybe a Graco, a Maclaren, a Chicco, or pretty much any of the leading brands have better strollers in this price range.

The other Eddie Bauer stroller I’d like to talk about is the Vector Sport baby stroller.

This is only $70 when I last checked, although maybe it was in a sale. This is a basic titanium lightweight stroller. It has a 5 point harness, which is what you need. It has an adjustable canopy (adjustable to three different positions I think). It’s designed like a three wheel model, but with four wheels, the two front ones being very close together.

To be honest… I don’t know anything more I can say for this stroller, because there are just better one’s out there made by different companies. Now obviously this is just my opinion. Maybe some people like Eddier Bauer strollers, but if you were to ask for my opinion… I would say keep away from them. They don’t have many features, they aren’t easy to move, and they lack in many of the areas that other strollers cater for very well.

Anyway, I hope this has helped shed some light on Eddie Bauer strollers. I hope my opinions haven’t come across as too harsh. Save your money, and buy a better stroller.

See you soon.

A Review of the Eddie Bauer Baby Stroller

If you are expecting a baby, you surely have already made and gone through a checklist of all the items you are going to need for when your little one arrives, and a baby stroller definitely should have been one of the very top things on that list. It can often be overwhelming in terms of buying anything for baby, let alone a stroller, as there are so many different brands, sizes and styles to choose from. One that stands out among all the rest however is the Eddie Bauer baby stroller.

About the Eddie Bauer Baby Stroller

The Eddie Bauer baby stroller actually comes in a bunch of different varieties itself, one in particular being the Eddie Bauer Adventure Travel Stroller. This stroller is a combination of a car seat, infant stroller and a toddler carriage. It offers an adjustable base with a sun canopy and front harness adjustment, which makes it very convenient for both you and baby.

Some of the other advantages of this Eddie Bauer baby stroller include: easy one hand folding option, multi-position reclining seat with full recline, large easy access spring down basket, five point harness system, three section canopy with covered window, front snack tray with extra large cup holder, parent tray on hand with two wide and extremely deep drink holders and covered storage areas, self-locking feature, and infant head roll.

Another of the fan favorites is the Eddie Bauer Bryant Two-Way Tandem stroller, which is an Eddie Bauer baby stroller that features an all-terrain 2-way tandem that has a reversible front seat so that children can ride either face to face or forward facing, there is removable front tray with a juice box holder, a parent tray on the handle, stadium seating for easy entry and better viewing for the child who is in the rear seat, front Euro-style shocks for a more comfortable ride, and a bottle bag located on the canopy for handy storage.

The Eddie Bauer Umbrella Plus Cochecito Umbrella Plus stroller, which features a lightweight frame with a compact fold, front swivel wheels for maneuverability, smooth-ride front, 2 rear foot brakes, foam-grip handles, mesh parent organizer, and a rounded canopy with a unique child-view window.

There are many other options that are available as well, and so the best idea is to take a quick browse through all of their offered strollers so that you can end up choosing the one that is best for you.

Double Baby Strollers

Today I’m going to talk about the different kinds of “double” baby strollers.

So let’s get started:

One of the most important features of a baby stroller is how easy it is to push. And this stroller copes very well. It will quite easily tackle slightly rough terrain (gravel, for example) due to its robust wheels.

It also has a little parent console where you can store things. It isn’t huge, but it’s another to carry a few items like a cell phone and a bottle of water.

The InStep double stroller can take around 100lbs of weight, which is quite a sizeable amount when you consider how much it weighs itself. It’s obviously made of high quality materials. Which is what you should expect from a middle of the range stroller.

This double baby stroller (in case you haven’t seen a picture of it) has three wheels. To large wheels at the back, and a swivel wheel at the front. You can also lock the front wheel if you like. Some parents aren’t keen on swivel wheels, but I think it works very well with this model.

If you’re looking for a double baby stroller, then you may want to consider getting a “twin” stroller. In case you don’t know, a twin stroller is basically two single strollers stuck together.

A popular twin stroller is made by Chicco. It’s called the Chicco Citta Twin Stroller. It costs around $140 last time I checked, so it’s a little cheaper than the InStep… but not much.

The Chicco twin stroller can take less weight than the InStep. Each seat can take around 37 lbs before you run into problems. But this is usually enough for most parents needs.

One of the advantages of these twin strollers is that they are very lightweight, and easy to get into your front door, or the trunk of your car.

It has a 5 point harness as standard, which is really much better than the 3 point harness. It keeps your child much more secure.

This stroller is very easy steer, which is a necessity if you have other kids as well. Because you need to keep an eye of the other children, and not be preoccupied with trying to steer your stroller! The twin stroller makes this easy.

Other strollers that are similar to the Chicco Citta are the “Graco Duorider Colburn” which is around $117. Also, you can get a similar kind of design called the double side-by-side stroller. A good example of this design is the “Tango side by side strollers”. They are quite a bit more expensive, at around $330. But they are very stable, and have the added protection of a front bar across the two seats. It also has quite a few other features (which is what you should expect for $330).

Peg Perego also makes a lightweight side by side stroller, which is around $300. I personally prefer the Tango because I like the design and the features. But the Peg Perego is quite similar.

If you’ve got money to burn, you might like to get a double baby stroller called the “BOB revolution duallie sport utility stroller”. This weighs in at a whopping $530, so it’s definitely a top of the range baby stroller.

This is a three wheeled stroller. It has a suspension system that can move 3 inches, which cuts down on the bouncing and vibrations quite a lot. Your baby won’t feel a thing.

The front wheel can be locked which makes it much safer when you’re off road or going for a run. The rear wheels even feature brakes. The canopies are both independently adjustable. The shoulder harness is padded and very comfortable for your child. This really is a luxury stroller.

If you’re thinking of getting this top of the line double baby stroller, then bare in mind you’re child needs to be at least 6-8 weeks old to ride in it, because he or she needs to be able to support their own head.

Anyway, that’s all for today. I hope this post has given you some good information to help you decide which kind of double baby stroller is for you. There’s a lot of choice out there, so take you time to find the right stroller for you. Good luck!

Choosing a jogging stroller

There are many things to consider when choosing a jogging stroller. The most expensive model doesn’t always mean it will be the “best” product for your particular needs. The following information will help you decide what features are best for you.

Wheels Sizes:

The larger the wheel, the easier it is to push and roll over curbs, steps, and rugged terrain. You can also choose 16″ or 12″ if you do not intend to run frequently on rugged terrain.

Seat Sizes:

Each stroller page has a link under the photo which shows the dimension of each seat.

What wheel size should you buy?

20″ in rear and 20″ in front: frequent jogging and off-road use.
20″ in rear and 16″ in front: frequent jogging and off-road use.
16″ all around: walking and running with some off-road use.
12″ all around: walking and some running. We do not recommend 12″ wheels for jogging. It’s harder to push.

Shocks/Suspension:

This feature is particularly good for off-road use and rugged terrain. Since two shocks are used, the need for a larger wheel is not necessary.

Alloy vs. Steel Wheels:

Alloy wheels are recommended if your climate promotes rust (e.g., near the beach or areas where its snows). The best wheel for such environments is a polymer wheel found on our BOB SUS. Steel wheels will rust over time and they are costly to replace. However, if your climate is not caustic, steel wheels are fine. Keep in mind that steel adds about 1 lb. to the weight of the stroller vs. alloy.

Alloy Hubs vs. Steel:

Hubs are the part at the center of the wheel where the spokes attach. Alloy hubs are recommended ONLY if you are in a climate that promotes rust. The only stroller we offer with alloy hubs is the and Baby Jogger line. The BOB SUS with polymer wheels and the Baby Jogger II 20″ Alloy are the best strollers for rust prone climates.

Reclining Seats:

Jogging strollers do not have seats that recline fully, because it is considered dangerous. The reclining seats work by letting out the extra fabric in the back supported by an adjustable nylon strap. This is not like the conventional umbrella stroller. Do not expect this feature to work like a standard Graco or Century model.

Color:

If you jog at night, it is wise to get a color that is easy to see. This will increase the safety on the street, so that you are more visible to vehicles. Color is also an important factor in hot states. The darker the color, the more heat the fabric will absorb and will in turn make your baby uncomfortable. Choose your color according to your needs and climate, not just by what “looks cool.”

Resale Value:

Since jogging strollers are in such high demand, you will most likely get a good price a few years down the road, should you decide to sell. Keeping the fabric from fading is important. If it looks new, you will get more money. It is wise to invest in a carry bag and seat liner to protect the seat and stroller. These items will keep your stroller looking like new!

Buying A Baby Stroller

Another thing you need to think about when it comes to buying a baby stroller is how you like the wheels and handles to be. If you’re quit tall, you’ll need the stroller to have adjustable handles to accommodate your height, for example.

If you’re trying out the stroller in a store, it shouldn’t be too much trouble to see how the wheels perform. Does the stroller corner nice and smoothly? Do you think you’d be able to manoeuvre it in public places? How about crowded public places?

Something you might also want to try is seeing if you can walk fast and not hit the stroller with your feet. This is something most people neglect to think about before they buy a stroller, and wish they had done afterwards.

You should also check to see how the handles are made, and what they are made from. You want it to be comfortable on your hands, and not cause any discomfort or strain.

You need to keep in mind what you want from your stroller, and make sure the stroller you eventually buy meets all your requirements.
